Get started with the AI Coach

Updated 2026-07-06

The AI Coach is a conversational assistant that lives in its own tab in Diet2Fit. Instead of tapping through menus, you can simply ask it things in plain language — about your plan, your food, or your day — and it responds like a knowledgeable friend who happens to know your meal plan inside out.

What the AI Coach can do

There are three big things the coach handles today:

Answer questions about your plan

Ask it anything you'd normally wonder about while looking at your week:

Because it can see your personalized plan, the answers are about your week — not generic advice.

Make adjustments for you

You can ask the coach to change your plan directly, and it will apply the edits:

Your weekly plan stays editable by hand too — the coach is a faster way to do the same edits.

Log food conversationally

Tell it what you ate, and it logs it for you:

It matches what you say against Diet2Fit's Indian-first food database, so everyday descriptions — katori of sabzi, plate of poha — work naturally.

Not seeing the AI Coach yet?

The AI Coach is rolling out gradually to users during early access. If your AI Coach tab isn't active yet, sit tight — access is expanding steadily, and there's nothing you need to do to opt in.

Tips for better conversations

A little precision goes a long way:

Here's a tip that regular users swear by: end your day with a one-line recap to the coach — "today I had poha for breakfast, dal-chawal for lunch, skipped my evening snack, 2 rotis and paneer for dinner." One message, whole day logged, and you'll actually remember to do it because it takes fifteen seconds.

What it won't do

The AI Coach is a helper, not an authority. It won't replace your own judgment about your body, and it's not a substitute for a doctor or a qualified dietitian — especially if you have a medical condition, allergies, or are pregnant. Your underlying plans are reviewed by experienced nutritionists, and for anything medical, a professional should always have the final word.

Treat the coach the way you'd treat a well-read friend: great for day-to-day questions, quick edits, and effortless logging — and worth double-checking on anything that really matters.

And keep an eye on this space: blood-report-based insights are coming soon.
